​ABOUT THE VIRTUAL CHOIR PROJECT

PROPHETS is an original composition by Adam Nurre for four-part choir, with text taken from The Prophet  by Kahlil Gibran. The piece is dedicated in loving memory to Chris Porter and Mitchell Vandenburg. 

With live music and large gatherings on hold, the annual memorial concert for the two Austin musicians had to move online. The virtual performance above features 32 singers from 7 states and the UK.

when you are sorrowful, look in your heart and you shall see that, in truth,
you are weeping for that which has been your delight.
